Founded in 2007 and based in Waterloo, Ontario, PostRank (originally AideRSS, Inc.) monitors and collects social engagement events correlated with online content in real-time across the web. PostRank gathers where and when stories generate comments, bookmarks, tweets, and other forms of interaction from a host of social hubs. Publishers and people interested in their content use PostRank Data Services and Analytics to gauge influence and reach with audiences.
PostRank offers services in four categories:
Connect: A new service, currently in beta, to connect brands and agencies with influential online publishers. Publishers can get recognition for their authority and expertise and develop their business relationships. Brands and agencies can more accurately pinpoint relevant influential publishers to work with to expand their marketing and PR on the social web.
Data Services: A collection of APIs for networks, companies, agencies and application developers that enable real-time content and engagement access for media monitoring, analysis and aggregation. PostRank’s Data Services APIs also enable data mining access to information by topic, time period, keyword, and engagement.
Analytics: A social web analytics tool for publishers, enabling more effective discovery of where their audience is engaging with their content. Publishers can also harness real-time online conversation monitoring for more effective audience relationship building, and metrics tracking of trends to improve their content and audience engagement.
Consumer: A variety of free tools for publishers and online information consumers to discover the best blogs, news, and articles by topic, and enable their audiences to discover their sites’ best content. PostRank enables comparisons of engagement performance among groups of sites by topic or analysis of publishers’ own site content for audience engagement in real-time and over time. PostRank helps online information consumers Find and Read What Matters.
